Never Worry About Getting New Patients Again...

“How I Averaged
30 New Patients A Month, Increased My Profits,
And BecameAn Expert In My Community By UsingCustom Infomercials.”

From: Jeff Hockings, D.C.
Bermuda Dunes, CA

Dear Chiropractic Colleague,

My name is Dr. Jeff Hockings and I live in a little resort area near Palm Springs, California. It is located 120 miles east of Los Angeles. We are known as the "Golf Capital of the World".

Are you are sick and tired of standing in a mall or parking lot, doing a screening with a dry spine, practically begging people to come over and talk to you?  How about health expos?  Do you feel like a used car salesman?  Are you throwing money down the drain praying that your full size yellow page ad will be the answer to your new patient mediocrity?  What about those of you giving away your first visit for free?

Don't you think your expertise and service is worth more than nothing?  Wouldn't you like to learn about a better way to generate new patients?

What if there was a marketing strategy that could create massive exposure within your community and at the same time make you look like the expert and professional that you are?  Wouldn't you like to spend your time and money using marketing that brings in lots of patients who value your work and expect to pay for your expertise?

If you are looking for the solution that gives you instant credibility, respect, and "expert status" in your community, then you've come to the right place.

I’m sure you’ve gone to seminars, read journals and listened to consultants tell you that there is no such thing as a new patient homerun anymore.

Everyone tries to convince you that you have to hand out cards, do spinal screenings, lead generation, telemarketing, direct mail, yellow page advertising, lectures, workshops, radio, newspaper ads, health fairs, expos and patient appreciation days, all in order to get a steady supply of new patients.

There was a time when I fell into that trap.  I believed everything the consultants were telling me.  I worked myself to the bone, spending almost all of my available hours trying to build my practice.  I thought this was what I needed to do to be successful.  I thought working long, hard hours would be temporary until I had a good enough base that I could depend on tons of referrals from my existing patients.

Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that instead of running my practice, my practice was running me.  My wife, God bless her, never saw me and she understood I was practically killing myself trying to build a successful office. We both thought I had to do these things to build up a solid patient base because that's what I’d been taught to do.

I had been with 5 different consultants in my first 5 years of practice, trying to pick the best things each one had to offer.

Now don’t get me wrong – the techniques I learned were all valuable and I learned something from every one of them. The problem is that a lot of their techniques are kind of gimmicky and you feel like you have to chase new patients to get them into your office, and they also consume a ton of your time and energy.

 I'd Had Enough!

I got sick and tired of doing lead generation advertising, standing at health expos and malls, going to leads meetings, doing marketing that made me look inferior to the other doctors and health professionals in my town.  I was tired, burned out, and I missed spending quality time with my wife.  Can you relate at all to what I'm saying?  I'm sure you can.

I Stopped Being Insane…

You know what the definition of insanity is, don't you?  It's doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.  I decided that I could no longer do what I was doing.  I needed to find a way to get control of my practice and time and still be outrageously successful.  I decided that I no longer wanted to do any marketing unless it presented me as the expert and professional that I am.

I also didn't want to spend long hours outside of my practice - I valued my relationship with my wife and new daughter too much to let my practice and marketing consume all of my time.  It was also a must that I not employ any gimmicky techniques that would require me to chase new patients to get them into my office.

And last but not least - no more freebies!  I was no longer going to give my Chiropractic services away for free.

How I Stumbled Onto Infomercials

I knew there had to be a better way where I could be in the position of attracting quality new patients and fulfill my criteria above. After 5 years of searching and hundreds of weekends doing screenings in Wal-Mart and the mall, I finally found it.

It was May 1997 and I was flipping through the Dynamic Chiropractic newspaper and I saw this doctor who was claiming to get dozens of new patients each month just by doing a TV Infomercial.  It intrigued me so I went to his seminar. I was taught what he was doing and he showed us his Infomercials.

I couldn’t believe it...They were absolutely horrible!

I couldn't believe how bad the quality was.  If this doctor was creating Infomercials for Donald Trump, Mr. Trump would have told him, "YOU'RE FIRED!!!"  It looked like his friend took a personal camcorder and did the video because the quality was so bad and he looked so sloppy.

His hair looked like it needed to be washed, his lab coat was wrinkled and he talked very monotone and slow.  On top of that, this doctor was telling us that he was generating great new patient flow from his (poorly made) Infomercials.

I was bored, uninspired and finally it hit me. If this guy could get as many new patients as he says he is, then I could create an Infomercial that could easily get double his results!!!

It just proved to me the power of TV. Even if you are terrible, you will get a ton of new patients. More on that later.

"Marketing Homerun!"

"I'm totally satisfied with Dr. Hockings and my show. Dr. Jeff was very professional and supportive during the taping session. I would strongly recommend this format and this program as a marketing tool. It's more cost effective than you might imagine. I've had great response to running the show. As anyone who has been in practice a long time will tell you, there are very few homeruns in marketing - this is one of them"

Now listen up because here's where it gets good.  I will be telling you how you can become the expert in your community using my Infomercial Systems that have been proven to work.  I will explain how you can come out to Palm Springs and appear as a guest on my national talk show, Phenomenal Health and/or create video clips for your website and/or produce pre-consultation and pre-report videos. Keep reading so you don’t miss it.

And by the way, the consultants are right; the more new patient activities you do, the more new patients you will get. But you want a life outside of your Chiropractic practice don't you? You want a better image in your community don't you?  I sure did. And that is when I figured out how to produce the best "new patient getter" I have ever seen…

I Created 30 Minute Custom Infomercials For My Community

I want to explain to you what happened when I started using the POWER OF TELEVISION to market my practice.  Even though I left that seminar in 1997 unimpressed with the quality of the doctor's work, I also left inspired to go to the drawing board and create an Infomercial masterpiece.

All I can say is BINGO - I hit pay dirt.  Once I created my Infomercials my marketing consisted of only 3 things:

·         Infomercials 5 nights a week, once a day (Which days do you think are best?)

·         An in-office workshop 2 times per month

·         A newspaper ad 1 time per month

Were the Infomercials a good investment of my time and money?  You tell me.  Once I started marketing myself to my community with the power of television, I averaged…

30 New Patients Every Month JUST From My Infomercials
For The Next 6 Years!

An important thing to see in that last statement is that I got 30 New Patients, not people just coming in for a free screening to waste your time. The only thing that matters in marketing is NEW PATIENTS!!

My referrals doubled once I started airing my Infomercials. People liked to brag to their friends that they go to the "Doctor on TV", so they started referring more people to me. I even started getting referrals from patients that had never referred to me in the past, but now that I was on TV, they started referring. It was amazing!

I ran my Infomercials five nights per week consistently from 1997 to 2003 and it was awesome!!! I didn’t do any other marketing activity except a yellow page ad (which I stopped running once I started running newspaper ads) and an in-office talk and...

I averaged 58 new patients every month!

And remember, when I say new patients, I mean it. These 58 new patients started some kind of care; they weren't coming in for free screenings.

How many doctors do you know that get those kind of results with such little effort?  Nothing I have ever done has even come close to the impact of doing TV Infomercials. Nothing!  I now had a life outside of my practice. No more running to the next seminar to learn the latest new trick to get new patients.

No more lead generation advertising. No more weekend spinal screenings. No more street fairs or business expos. No more flaky telemarketers.  And I can confidently say that I’ve wasted more money on marketing bombs in my 16 year career than most doctors spend their whole lives.

"Thank You Dr. Jeff Hockings!"

"Getting an Infomercial was exactly what I was looking for to break the mold and do something different with my marketing.  When I went to Palm Springs, I was immediately impressed the with quality of the studio and the production.  It was also a lot of fun.  I would recommend an Infomercial to any chiropractor who wants to increase their new patient flow and add a powerful marketing weapon to their practice."

I owned 3 different offices from 1992 to 2003. One in Indian Wells, one in Cathedral City and one in BrawleyI say "used to practice" because I sold my last office in 2003 so I could focus on writing books, public speaking and helping doctors attract an enormous amount of new patients by creating an incredible presence on TV.

I just opened up my fourth office in December 2006 and it is already doing awesome as an all cash office using Infomercials as the primary method of marketing again.

There is a strange phenomenon that happens when you do a TV Infomercial. Any other marketing procedure you use gets increased results as a side effect. Any other ad or mailing you create can mention your TV show.

You Have Gained Instant Credibility

People have this strange belief that if you are on TV that you must be good. Lots of people assume that the TV station checks out anyone that is on their channel.  It’s like you are automatically getting a third party endorsement from the TV station. You must be a good doctor or they wouldn’t let you on their channel.  You would really have to screw up horrendously to not make your Infomercial work. Even if you don't have the most experience in town, you will be the expert in everyone's eyes.

By Being On TV, People Assume You Are The Expert

It's an amazing phenomenon! I used to get recognized everywhere I went. No, people weren't asking for my autograph, but they complimented the show and most times they asked me questions about their health. I got dozens of new patients from these encounters.

I literally didn’t have to do any other marketing procedure to get new patients other than the Infomercial, newspaper ad and two in-office talks per month. These three things got me enough new patients to keep me and two associates busy enough, as you can imagine.

I know that if I had done more new patient marketing that I could have gotten more new patients, but how many is enough? Everyone has their comfort zone that makes them happy. How many new patients would you want each month if you could wave a magic wand?

I Have The Magic Wand!

If 30 total new patients per month are all you want, then you don’t have to run your Infomercial as often as mine.  The beauty of my system is that you can get as many new patients as you want with full control. Just increase or decrease the frequency of your Infomercials and bingo…

You Can Predictably Get All The New Patients You Want!

Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well, there is some initial work you have to produce the show and it does cost a little bit of money. But what would you be willing to spend to consistently get ALL the new patients you ever wanted or could handle plus dramatically increase your referrals plus be perceived as the expert in your city?

Relax though. You’ll be shocked to learn how little it really costs to produce and air your Infomercials. Thinking it costs too much is why a lot of doctors don’t investigate Infomercials further. This is a HUGE mistake.

Once we have produced your show, all you have to do is run the Infomercial and schedule the appointments. It’s all up-front work. Once it’s done, you don’t have to worry about it any longer.  It's like marketing on auto-pilot!

Appearing as guest on my national TV show, Phenomenal Health, will be the best marketing product you will every create for your practice. More about that later.

Another benefit of being on TV is that when the patients come in, they are already pre-sold on you and what you can do for them. This means that you get much higher quality patients who have a better understanding of what you do. And you spend less time educating them. Your Infomercial has already done that. Now, when patients come in…

THEY’RE READY FOR CARE!!

"Booming Practice"

"Infomercials have been a boon to my practice.  It has been the single best advertising source for quality patient's, not just lookie-loo patients.  They are more educated and better informed BEFORE they come into the office.  It is very easy to bring new patient's into the clinic when they are already determined to commence treatment.  Thanks!"

You can make your Infomercial about any topic you want. I produced 5 different shows that I alternated during the 6 years I used Infomercials. My show topics were:

*  Why Is Chiropractic So Popular?
*  Why Do Children Need Chiropractic Care?
*  Herniated Discs
*  Arthritis
*  Auto Accidents and Work Related Accidents

     By customizing your own show…

You Can Target The Type Of Patient You Want

Let’s say you want to build a Personal Injury practice. Then, all you have to do is make an Infomercial explaining why people should see a Chiropractor after being in an accident. Now Personal Injury patients call you. No more chasing attorneys, or schmoozing auto body shops or towing companies, or placing displays everywhere.

It doesn’t matter what type of patient you want. Pick a topic and do an Infomercial about it and…

Patients Will Call You!

I’ve already given you the list of topics I used. They all work incredibly. You get to pick your topic so your show is 100% customized to highlight your office. The beauty of my system is that it allows you to be in control of what kind of patients call you. If there is a type of patient that you would rather not see, then don’t do an Infomercial on that topic.

Are you starting to see the amazing benefits of doing your own 30 minute, custom Infomercials? I hope so. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this system is the…

Last New Patient Marketing Procedure
You Will Ever Have To Do!

"New Patient Explosion"

Imagine what it would be like to never have to go to another new patient seminar ever again. To never have to buy another new patient course ever again. How much time and money would you save? Thousands? Believe me, I know. It really is remarkable.

One fact that makes this system so productive is that we live in a society that is hooked on TV. Ask yourself how much TV you watch each week. Be honest. Most people will tell you that they hardly ever watch TV. It’s as if they are embarrassed to admit it. But the reality is that the average adult watches a staggering 35 hours of TV per week. That’s 5 hours per day!

Another fact that makes this system so successful is that most people trust what they see on TV. After all, they watch the news, CNN, 60 Minutes, Dr. Phil, and Oprah. If you put yourself on TV, you automatically get incredible credibility attached to yourself.

Now let me explain why producing a custom Infomercial is better than a pre-made one. Patients want to come in and see the "Doctor on TV", which should be you, not someone else. Pre-made Infomercials will NEVER generate as many new patients or produce all the benefits of a custom show. I've been producing Infomercials and teaching other doctors how to do the same thing for over 8 years, which is longer than anyone else. I know what works and what doesn't. Custom is ALWAYS better than pre-made.

When I was still seeing patients, my referrals skyrocketed due to the celebrity status I had by being on TV.  Once I got associates to do all the adjusting, my referrals went down 50%. I still got the same amount of new patients, because I still ran my show 5 days per week, but new patients were a little disappointed when they couldn’t see the "Doctor on TV".

The amount of referrals went back up once I remade my Infomercials with my associates in them too. Now even though my associates were adjusting patients and not me, they were still seeing a "Doctor on TV" and they started referring to my associates like crazy.

My point is, that you want to make sure that the doctor doing the adjusting is on Infomercial, otherwise your patients will be a little disappointed.

If you currently don’t treat patients and have associates do all the adjusting then having you and the associates on the Infomercial would work best, so that patients can brag that they are getting treated by the "Doctor on TV".
